This Privacy Policy explains how Sellitics ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our marketplace analytics platform available at selliticsapp.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — your email address, password (stored as a hash), and the company name you provide at signup.
• Marketplace data — when you connect an eBay account, we receive OAuth access and refresh tokens, your eBay seller ID and username, and data about your listings, orders and sales performance that you authorise us to access.
• Usage information — standard server logs including IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service and its analytics features to you.
• Authenticate access to your account and your connected stores.
• Communicate with you about your account and service updates.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Detect, prevent and investigate fraud or abuse.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers — infrastructure partners such as Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting), who process data on our behalf under contract.
• Marketplaces you connect — when you authorise an integration, data flows between that marketplace and your workspace under the permissions you grant.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.

5. eBay data handling

When an eBay user deletes or closes their eBay account, we receive a notification from eBay and permanently delete all data associated with that eBay account from our systems, including OAuth tokens, orders and derived metrics. This is handled automatically through our registered account deletion endpoint.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a marketplace integration at any time, which removes the stored credentials for that connection. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest, scoped access tokens, and row-level access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

8. Your rights

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.
